e-Poster session is now ready!

Presenting your work

EEMGS New Investigators and Erasmus+ project RALDE have teamed up to present a series of webinars entitled: The Art of Scientific Presenting. They will be focused on how to improve short talks, poster presentations, Q&A sessions, and preparation essentials. It could be helpful to win you the 2024 EEMGS Best Poster or Talk award. Save the following dates: May 23rd, May 31st, and June 14th 2024 at 2 pm CET.

Your participation is free, even for non-members, and is not restricted to early-career scientists. You are all welcome to register here.

Posters

We would really like to support the poster revolution. Do you agree that most of the posters look the same? That sometimes they don’t deliver the message they should? Some of those might be even classified as boring?

Please take a look at the following videos and make poster sessions great again!

Poster guidelines

  • the maximum dimensions are set to A0 format (1189 × 841 mm)
  • use a portrait layout
  • please briefly highlight the key result, main idea, or message you want others to remember using big font and plain language (see examples)
  • be creative
  • less is more – we guarantee the best poster experience!
  • fixing material will be provided on-site
  • posters may remain on the poster board throughout the entire congress
  • please check the programme to see when there will be guided poster tours
  • there will be no printing of posters available on-site
  • after the conference closure, all posters should be removed and we do not guarantee their fate
  • please do not be afraid to show posters like the ones shown here (they are effective and you can do them in less than 1 h)
