A number of travel grants (500 €) are available to members of EEMGS New Investigators to attend the EEMGS/SEMA 2023 meeting in Malaga. The applications need to be sent to the EEMGS president (here)
Deadline for travel bursary application: 1st of March 2023, 23:59 CET.
Conditions and rules:
The candidate should be a member of EEMGS and a member of the EEMGS New Investigators group (join) at the moment of the application.
- The candidate must be an early-career scientist; should still be within 8 years of postdoctoral experience or equivalent, excluding approved career breaks
- Applications should include the abstract, a short curriculum vitae of the applicant (maximum 2 pg., please indicate number of publications, number of citations, and top 5 journals your papers were published – to enable blinding of application) and a motivation letter (be creative)
- Recipients of travel grants are expected to attend the entire meeting and acknowledge the EEMGS on their poster/oral presentation
- After the meeting, recipients should write a short report with their personal view of the meeting that will be published on the EEMGS website and social media
