Founded as independent consortium, now associated with
European Environmental Mutagen and Genomics Society (EEMGS)
Purpose
- Bring together key experts on topics currently challenging or controversial in the genetox community and broadly relevant to regulatory testing.
- Involve relevant stakeholder groups including academia, health authorities, and industry) across key geographic regions (EU, North America, Asia) to mimic the ICH approach.
- The process consists of extensive preparatory work followed by a 2-3-day final face-to-face workshop.
- Final recommendations are usually published as Special Issue in a journal in thefield.
