It is with great sadness that we share the news of Professor Diana Anderson’s passing on October 11th, 2024. Professor Anderson, from the University of Bradford, was a leading figure in the field of mutagenesis and environmental genomics. She worked in this field for over 50 years. In 2023, she was honoured with the Fritz Sobels Award for her outstanding contributions. Her research focused on the genotoxic and epigenetic effects of chemical agents on humans, and her work had a lasting impact on environmental safety and health regulations. Professor Anderson’s legacy will continue to inspire the scientific community.
